Ultra High Throughput Sequencing
Massively Parallel Sequencing Technologies enable extremely deep sequencing of eukaryotic and microbial genomes, meta-genomic analysis of environmental samples in single run at very low cost. Currently there are several competing platforms such as 454 (Roche), Solid (Life Technologies, Inc), Solexa (Illumina, Inc.), and Heliscope (Helicos Bioscience Corperation) available. In addition, several other new technologies (SMRT, Pacific Biosciences, Complete Genomics, The Polonator G.007, etc) are right around the corner. The advance of these platforms has promised to transform our ways of studying genomic variations at organismal levels at an unprecedented path.
We are committed to providing our clients most up to date technology services. To this end, we are currently offering the following services for the Solexa Genetic Analyzer (GA, GAII) systems:
1. Genomic library construction for single-end and paired-end Adaptors.
2. ChIP-seq library construction for single-end and paired-end Adaptors.
3. mRNA-seq library construction for single-end and paired-end Adaptors.
4. Conversion from single-end library to paired-end library.
All libraries are constructed following Illumina protocols. Each library is rigorous QC by sequencing random subclones using traditional Sanger sequencing to assess percentage of correct inserts .
